His Story

From Korea to the Marine Corps to the Consulting Room

Kwan Sung Jin's journey is one of resilience, learning, and service. Born in Korea and having moved to the United States, his path has been shaped by challenges that became opportunities for growth.

As a U.S. Marine veteran and immigrant, he served for six years — including a deployment during the first Iraq conflict — where the Corps instilled in him the discipline, honor, and unwavering commitment to duty that define his character to this day.

Education has always been at the center of his story, leading him to pursue an MBA and doctoral studies at Liberty University. Along the way, he broadened his reach by learning Spanish, deepened his discipline by earning an instrument-rated pilot's license, and built lasting connections through service and community work.

Today, his focus is on writing, research, and consulting — helping veterans navigate civilian life and helping businesses build authentic philanthropic strategies that create lasting impact.
